so, what do I carry in my Make-up bag? My little black and pink lace bag from M store. Well, sadly I tend to stick to MAC and Benefit. But here is a run down of the products I can't live without......
MAC lipstick : You know me, I LOVE my dramatic lipstick. Although it does make kissing when your in a relationship bothersome. Also your Boy/Girlf might find it annoying that they get covered each time you kiss! I normally use 'Rebel' a deep wine color perfect for the winter. 'Ruby Woo' for a daytime intense red which is fantastic for fashionising up your look and I also love 'saint Germain' as well. A light pink which sadly requires a very well made up face as my normal skin tone is too light. Oh and 'Cyber' a dark purple color perfect for adding a bit of dramatic color to a fashion forward outfit.
MAC studio fix foundation : Simply the best for coverage. Expensive. But it really does work. I haven't come close to another foundation. There is such a wide variety of shades as well and the girls are fantastic at finding your color. I wear the second palest one! With my pasty skin I need to! But everywhere I go, there is a bottle of this in my handbag. It goes on perfectly in seconds so no fiddling around with brushes or patches.
BENEFIT BROWS A GO GO : You can take me anywhere but I wont go without my eyebrows done. Done properly eyebrows add definition. Discovering how to do my eyebrows properly was the best trick I have ever learned. So this little kit has everything you need to do it properly and get the best results. Also the gals on the counter in Brown Thomas Grafton Street are lovely enough to show you the best tricks and how to use the kit if you pop in.
Bad Gal Eyeliner : I love my smoky eye make-up and never leave the house without the perfect dark eyeliner. For this I need BAD GAL eyeliner from Benefit. I only have one complaint. Finding a pencil sharpener big enough to keep it topped up. but apart from that. It leaves you with the perfect black line.
M store Concealer : It doesn't matter what you've managed to do to your skin. Any skin issue you might have. This WILL cover it. You need very very little as it goes so far. But M store are available from Arnotts in Dublin. Pop under your foundation. I swear by it as it not only covers my hereditary dark circles, it also heals. Containing various oils it heals while it covers. Perfection.
